Ready mix Driver

With our commitment to sustainable construction solutions, we are seeking a dedicated Ready Mix Driver to become part of our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in safely delivering ready mix concrete to various construction sites while upholding the high standards of service and quality that CalPortland is known for.

Responsibilities

• Operate a ready mix concrete truck to transport concrete from our plants to various construction sites in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure the correct mixture of concrete is loaded onto the truck and verify concrete specifications prior to dispatch.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure timely delivery and efficient routing.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck pursuant to DOT regulations.
• Adjust the work schedule to accommodate customer needs and project timelines, which may include evenings and weekends.
• Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring all tools are stored properly and the mixer is free of debris and buildup.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in safety trainings to minimize risks in all aspects of operations.
