Weekend MIG Welder

Webco Manufacturing is seeking a Weekend MIG Welder to join our precision sheet metal team in Alto, GA. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, set up welding equipment, and perform high-quality MIG welding on a variety of metal components. You'll inspect welds, maintain equipment, and follow strict safety and quality standards. Working in a team-oriented, production environment, you'll support continuous improvement, collaborate with fabricators and assemblers, and contribute to on-time delivery of custom products for diverse industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on sheet metal components to meet specifications and quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment and fixtures safely
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and defects; make corrections as needed
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality goals
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment
• Document work as required and report issues to supervisors
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
