Registered Nurse Occupational Medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational health nursing care to employees, including triage, treatment, and follow-up for work-related injuries and illnesses
• Conduct employee health screenings, immunizations, and annual exams to support workplace safety and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with physicians, safety teams, and HR to manage return-to-work, disability, and workplace accommodation plans
• Maintain accurate clinical and OSHA-related documentation, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to Ascension and regulatory standards
• Educate staff on health promotion, injury prevention, ergonomics, and safe work practices
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and emergency response planning within the occupational health program
