Registered Nurse Senior Behavioral Health

Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for Senior Behavioral Health to join our faith-based healthcare team. This role focuses on providing high-quality mental health services to elderly patients, integrating innovative care and compassionate strategies. Our Senior Behavioral Health Nurses are key in executing our mission to transform healthcare by emphasizing holistic, personalized patient care and supporting mental wellness in our communities.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement comprehensive nursing care for elderly patients in a behavioral health setting.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute tailored treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt plans as needed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on managing their conditions and improving their health and wellness.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitoring for and mitigating potential side effects or complications.
• Maintain detailed records of patient care, condition, and progress.
