Assistant Director of Nursing

Touchstone Communities seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our skilled nursing community. The ADON supports the Director of Nursing in leading clinical operations, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for residents. Responsibilities include coordinating care plans, monitoring regulatory compliance, supporting survey readiness, overseeing infection control and quality initiatives, and mentoring nurses and CNAs. Responsibilities

• Support Director of Nursing in daily clinical operations of the skilled nursing facility
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care
• Assist with care plan development, review, and interdisciplinary coordination
• Monitor regulatory compliance, documentation, and survey readiness
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance feedback for nursing team
• Oversee infection control and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and families to support resident outcomes
• Respond to clinical escalations and support complex resident care needs
• Promote a culture of compassion, servant leadership, and person-centered care
• Participate in staff education and competency training
