REGISTERED NURSE

Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, seeks a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Travel Team. Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a diverse and dynamic ICU environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and document treatment activities.
• Educate patients and their families on illness, injury prevention, and treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Travel between facilities within the Ascension network as needed.

Required Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Patient and family education
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
