Registered Nurse NICU Travel

Ascension seeks a Registered Nurse NICU Travel professional to deliver high-acuity neonatal care across our mission-driven hospitals. In this role, you will assess, monitor, and stabilize critically ill and premature infants while collaborating closely with neonatologists and an interdisciplinary team. You will provide family-centered education and emotional support, operate advanced NICU equipment, and uphold rigorous safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to NICU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with NICU protocols and physician orders
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members on individualized care plans
• Educate and support parents and families on infant status, treatments, and at-home care planning
• Maintain and operate specialized NICU equipment, ensuring safe and effective use
• Respond promptly to changes in infant condition and participate in emergency interventions
• Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and quality standards within a high-acuity environment
• Complete required travel nurse documentation, compliance, and orientation at assigned facilities
