Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, helpful service throughout their visit
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process purchases, returns, and fuel transactions accurately
• Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments, ensuring correct change and balancing the register at shift end
• Maintain clean, well-organized sales floors, counters, restrooms, and common areas in line with store standards
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays, rotating products for freshness and following merchandising plans
• Support the preparation, packaging, and display of fresh food items according to food safety guidelines
• Monitor fuel pumps and forecourt areas, responding to customer needs and reporting any safety concerns
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing deliveries, checking for accuracy and product quality
• Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and compliance
• Work collaboratively with team members and shift leaders to meet store performance and customer service goals
• Communicate customer feedback, product issues, or safety concerns to management promptly
• Be flexible with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support store operating hours
