Mobile Donation Receiver

As a Mobile Donation Receiver at KARM Stores, you'll represent our Christ-centered mission on the road by safely driving a company vehicle to pick up donations from homes, churches, and community partners. You'll load and unload furniture, clothing, and household goods, providing exceptional customer service while handling items with care. Working closely with store and warehouse teams, you'll help sort, document, and stage donations, supporting KARM's ministry to people experiencing homelessness across East Tennessee through excellent stewardship of donated goods.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicle to pick up donations on assigned routes
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service at each pick-up location
• Lift, load, unload, and secure donated items to prevent damage
• Document donations per KARM procedures and obtain necessary signatures/receipts
• Inspect vehicle and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Coordinate with store/warehouse teams for routing, unloading, and staging
• Assist with basic sorting and quality checks of donated items
• Uphold KARM's Christ-centered, mission-focused values in all interactions
• Follow all safety, DOT, and company policies and procedures

• Safe vehicle operation/local driving

• Manual handling and lifting (50-75 lbs)

• Use of hand trucks and moving equipment
• Vehicle safety and pre-trip inspections
