Swim Instructor

WeAquatics is seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor for our Clinton location to deliver year-round lessons to infants, children, and adults. In this role, you will teach small-group and private classes focused on water safety, stroke technique, and building confidence in and around the water. You'll create structured lesson plans, monitor progress, and communicate clearly with parents and swimmers. Working in a supportive, mission-driven environment, you'll receive ongoing training in proven methodologies while helping diverse learners develop lifelong swimming skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach group and private swim lessons to infants, children, and adults
• Ensure constant supervision and enforce all water safety protocols
• Develop lesson plans focused on technique, safety, and confidence-building
• Assess swimmer progress and provide clear, encouraging feedback
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about swimmer development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool deck and teaching area
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to support consistent teaching methods
