Construction Supervisor

Habitat for Humanity of Dane County seeks a Construction Supervisor to lead on-site building and repair projects that create affordable homeownership opportunities. In this mission-driven role, you will oversee daily field operations, coordinating volunteers, subcontractors, and partner families while ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to building codes. Responsibilities include scheduling, site logistics, material management, and volunteer training in safe construction practices. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities on Habitat build and repair sites
• Coordinate and lead volunteers, subcontractors, and partner families on site
• Ensure work meets safety standards, building codes, and Habitat quality expectations
• Create and manage build schedules, materials, and site logistics
• Train and mentor volunteers in basic construction skills and safe tool use
• Inspect work progress and resolve on-site construction issues
• Collaborate with staff on project planning, budgeting, and timelines
• Maintain accurate site documentation, reports, and incident records
• Communicate project status to internal teams and community partners
• Support a mission-driven, inclusive, and respectful jobsite culture
