Electrician

Durez Corporation, a leader in advanced thermoset molding compounds and phenolic resins, seeks an experienced Electrician for its manufacturing facility. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, and repair plant electrical systems, motors, controls, and PLC driven equipment to support safe, reliable production. You will perform preventative maintenance, interpret electrical schematics, and assist with process and equipment upgrades. The position requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and continuous improvement practices while collaborating with engineers, maintenance, and production teams in a stable, global manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plant electrical distribution, motors, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults on production and process equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive and predictive electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new production lines and controls.
• Apply and enforce electrical and plant safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and NFPA 70
• E.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and improvements in CMMS or maintenance logs.
