FABRICATOR

As a Fabricator at EMPLOYER-DESC , you will be pivotal in crafting various metal parts and tools essential for manufacturing processes. This role involves interpreting blueprints, operating metalworking machines, and assembling parts to meet detailed specifications. It requires a keen eye for detail, precision, and effective communication skills to ensure production requirements are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
• Set up, operate, and maintain metalworking machines, such as brakes, presses, or shears.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments.
• Assemble and fit parts into assemblies or sub-assemblies, using hand tools and welding equipment.
• Adjust and correct machine set-ups to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools and metalworking equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of metal properties and experience in metal cutting, shaping, and forming techniques.
