Server

As a Server with SSP in our Hospitality & Travel, Food & Beverage Operations, you'll deliver attentive, efficient service to guests in a fast-paced environment. You will greet customers, take accurate food and beverage orders, operate POS systems, and ensure timely delivery of items while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. You'll handle payments, support daily side work, and collaborate with kitchen and bar teams. This role requires strong communication, a customer-first mindset, the ability to stand for long periods, and adherence to food safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional table service
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
• Deliver food and drinks ensuring correct items, timing, and presentation
• Handle payments, process transactions, and reconcile checks accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas
• Follow health, safety, and allergen protocols at all times
• Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and revenue
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
• Handle guest concerns and escalate issues when necessary
• Support opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned
