Make Ready Service Technician

Dream Live Prosper Communities seeks a Make Ready Service Technician to prepare and maintain apartment homes for new and current residents. Responsibilities include turning vacant units, completing basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs, painting, cleaning, and ensuring all homes meet safety and quality standards. You'll respond to work orders, support preventative maintenance, and collaborate with the property team to deliver safe, attractive, and well-maintained communities that enhance residents' daily lives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and turn vacant apartments to move-in ready condition
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs
• Patch drywall and paint interiors as needed
• Complete cleaning and detail work to meet property standards
• Respond to resident and staff maintenance work orders
• Assist with preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment
• Inspect units for safety, functionality, and quality issues
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in good order
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with property staff to support resident satisfaction
