Dental Hygienist/EPDH

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy following clinical protocols
• Obtain, expose, and evaluate dental radiographs and intraoral images
• Conduct periodontal charting, caries risk assessment, and oral cancer screenings
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
• Administer local anesthesia and antimicrobial therapy where permitted by licensure
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in electronic dental records
• Adhere to strict infection control and sterilization procedures
• Collaborate with dentists and clinical team on treatment planning and patient care
• Promote a comfortable, compassionate patient experience aligned with Gentle Dental values
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
