Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial dental assessments and evaluate patient oral health history.
• Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning and apply dental sealants and fluorides.
• Take dental x-rays and impressions as required for treatment planning.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene strategies and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
• Assist in managing medical and dental emergencies.
• Maintain patient dental records and document patient care services.
• Collaborate with dentists to plan treatments for teeth or gum diseases and monitor progress.
