Chef Manager

Aramark seeks a Chef Manager to lead campus dining at Hawaii Pacific University. You will oversee daily kitchen and front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include menu planning and costing, inventory and vendor management, and controlling food and labor costs to meet financial targets. You will hire, schedule, train, and coach staff, fostering a safe, inclusive, and team-focused culture. Partner with university stakeholders to support catering and special events while upholding Aramark's service, safety, and innovation standards and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service operations at Hawaii Pacific University, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
• Plan, cost, and update menus aligned with nutritional, budget, and client requirements.
• Manage, train, schedule, and coach culinary and front-of-house staff to deliver excellent service.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor budgets, food and labor costs, and inventory to meet financial targets.
• Coordinate with vendors for ordering, receiving, and product quality control.
• Partner with university stakeholders to support events, catering, and special programs.
• Implement Aramark standards, SOPs, and brand guidelines across the operation.
• Drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction, efficiency, and team engagement.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for audits and performance tracking.
