RN Staff Nurse

Legacy Health is seeking an RN Staff Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As part of a collaborative, safety-focused team, you will assess, plan, and implement nursing care for diverse patient populations, including opportunities in Oncology. Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, coordinating interdisciplinary care, educating patients and families, and documenting in the EHR. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications, infusions, and treatments safely, including oncology regimens as applicable
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and escalate concerns to providers
• Document care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and support staff to coordinate care
• Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Precept or mentor new staff and students as assigned
• Support a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning
