Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Headlight, an agile software company, is hiring a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality tech-enabled mental health care. In this hybrid role, you'll provide psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and medication management via in-person and telehealth visits while helping shape Headlight's digital care tools. You'll collaborate closely with product and engineering to refine workflows, document care in EHR systems, monitor outcomes, and contribute clinical insight that directly influences product direction in a fast-paced, customer-driven startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses via in-person and telehealth visits.
• Develop and manage evidence-based treatment plans, including medication management.
• Document care using EHR and contribute to improving clinical workflows with the product team.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to refine digital mental health tools.
• Monitor patient outcomes, adjust treatment plans, and escalate higher-risk cases as needed.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and support resources.
• Participate in case reviews and interdisciplinary care coordination.
• Support protocol development, clinical guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives.
