Machine Operator

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to support high-volume plastic packaging production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will set up, operate, and monitor automated equipment producing PET and HDPE containers, performing changeovers, quality checks, and basic troubleshooting to maintain safety, quality, and output standards. Responsibilities include following SOPs, inspecting products, recording production data, and coordinating with maintenance on equipment issues. You'll contribute to continuous improvement, sustainability goals, and team problem-solving while building technical skills and long-term career growth in a global organization.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor automated plastic packaging equipment
• Perform machine changeovers and adjustments to meet production requirements
• Conduct routine quality checks on PET and HDPE containers
• Follow safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate complex problems
• Record production data, downtime, and quality results accurately
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve issues
• Support continuous improvement and 5

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
