This position entails providing high-quality imaging services, primarily focusing on bone density scans and related diagnostic procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis and other bone-related conditions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating radiographic equipment, maintaining patient safety, and contributing to our mission of enhancing the health standards of our community through cutting-edge medical care.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain radiology imaging equipment, primarily DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) machines.
- Conduct bone density tests and other radiographic examinations as requested by medical staff.
- Interpret data and assist physicians in diagnosing bone health issues.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all patients during procedures.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with radiology practices and technologies.
