Line Cook

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Line Cook to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for our senior residents in a warm, hospitality-focused environment. You will follow standardized recipes and resident-specific dietary guidelines, including special diets and texture modifications, while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. Working closely with a compassionate, resident-centered team, you'll help create a positive dining experience, support kitchen prep and cleanup, and participate in ongoing training and development to grow your culinary skills in senior living and healthcare hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion and presentation standards
• Follow resident-specific dietary needs, restrictions, and texture-modified diets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen meeting health and sanitation standards
• Assist with food prep, inventory rotation, and proper food storage
• Collaborate with dietary and care teams to support resident-centered meal service
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of meal service for scheduled dining times
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and correctly
• Support special events and themed meals for residents and families
• Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
• Participate in training and continuous improvement of culinary services
