Production Grinding Operator

Charter Aarrowcast is seeking a Production Grinding Operator to support our high-volume iron foundry in Shawano, WI. In this role, you will operate grinding and finishing equipment to remove gates, risers, and excess material from gray and ductile iron castings. You will inspect parts for surface quality and dimensional accuracy, use basic measurement tools, and follow precise work instructions and safety procedures. Working in a team-oriented, safety-focused environment, you'll help meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities

• Operate grinding and finishing equipment for gray and ductile iron castings
• Inspect castings for defects, dimensions, and surface quality
• Read and follow production orders, work instructions, and safety procedures
• Use measurement tools to verify tolerances and quality standards
• Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and preventative maintenance
• Handle and stage castings using appropriate material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Communicate issues with quality, equipment, or safety to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
• Participate in training, continuous improvement, and safety initiatives
