Control Mechanic

Join Uline Inc. as a Control Mechanic, maintaining and troubleshooting industrial control systems that keep our high-volume distribution operations running smoothly. In this fast-paced, performance-driven environment, you'll install, calibrate, and repair PLC-based controls, variable frequency drives, sensors, and conveyor systems. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, read schematics, and document all work. Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to minimize downtime, support continuous improvement, and uphold strict safety, quality, and reliability standards across our wholesale distribution facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial control systems and equipment
• Install, calibrate, and configure PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and related components
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyors and automation systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using schematics and test equipment
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage accurately
• Collaborate with operations and engineering to reduce downtime and improve reliability
• Adhere to safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced distribution environment
