Assistant Service Manager

Security Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM, a leading Long Island dealership in Amityville, NY, is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support our fast-paced, high-volume service department. In this role, you'll help oversee daily service operations, manage repair orders, and ensure an exceptional customer experience from check-in to vehicle delivery. You'll coach advisors and technicians, coordinate scheduling, monitor workflow, and uphold dealership and OEM quality standards. Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the service department in a high-volume dealership environment
• Assist in managing repair orders from write-up through completion and delivery
• Provide clear, professional communication with customers regarding diagnostics, estimates, and timelines
• Coordinate scheduling and workflow between advisors, technicians, and parts
• Monitor quality standards, OEM guidelines, and warranty processes
• Help train, coach, and support service advisors and support staff
• Identify opportunities to upsell maintenance and repairs while maintaining integrity
• Track key performance metrics and support process improvements
• Ensure a clean, safe, and customer-friendly service drive and waiting area
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve escalated customer concerns and maintain satisfaction targets
