Assistant Food Service Director

Aramark is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to support daily food operations for a high-volume client location. In this on-site leadership role, you will help oversee menu execution, food production, safety, sanitation, and service standards while supervising and developing front- and back-of-house staff. You'll assist with scheduling, training, inventory, ordering, and cost control to meet budget and quality goals. Partnering closely with the Food Service Director, you will help drive an inclusive, team-oriented culture focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across Aramark's diverse service environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with menu planning, food production, and quality control
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
• Supervise, schedule, and train food service staff
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Support budgeting, cost control, and waste reduction efforts
• Maintain excellent customer service and respond to client needs
