Physical Therapist

Good Samaritan Health Center in Atlanta seeks a mission-driven Physical Therapist to provide evidence-based, whole-person care to underserved individuals and families. The PT will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training to improve mobility, decrease pain, and enhance quality of life. This role collaborates closely with an interdisciplinary team in a faith-based, community-focused setting, emphasizing health equity, patient education, and compassionate service. Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based physical therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations
• Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training to improve mobility, strength, and pain management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical, dental, behavioral health, and wellness teams to support whole-person care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and condition self-management
• Document assessments, goals, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the EMRParticipate in case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and community-outreach or health-equity efforts
• Supervise and mentor students or support staff as appropriate, modeling mission-driven, compassionate care
• Ensure adherence to ethical, regulatory, and safety standards in a faith-based nonprofit environment
