Radiologic Technologist

Essentia Health is seeking a Casual Radiologic Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services for patients across our integrated health system. In this role, you will perform radiologic exams following physician orders, operate digital imaging equipment, and ensure accurate positioning and image quality while maintaining patient comfort and safety. You will follow radiation safety standards, verify patient identity and medical history, and document procedures in the electronic health record. Collaborating with radiologists, nurses, and care teams, you'll support patient-centered, compassionate care and contribute to a respectful, innovative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiologic exams per provider orders
• Prepare and position patients to obtain quality images
• Operate and troubleshoot radiologic imaging equipment
• Apply radiation safety and ALARA standards
• Verify patient identity and review medical history
• Document procedures in the electronic health record
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures as needed
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment cleanliness
• Communicate clearly with patients and care team members
• Follow infection control and organizational policies
