Per Diem Radiology Opportunities: Sonography, Xray, and MRI

The University of Vermont Medical Center, an innovator in community health and advanced medical care, is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist I to join our dedicated team in Burlington, VT. This role is vital in providing high-quality diagnostic images that support the precise diagnosis and treatment of our patients. As a part of our team, you will work in a dynamic environment equipped with the latest imaging technology to aid in the diagnosis and management of patient health.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all imaging equipment including but not limited to X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining methodologies and addressing concerns.
• Assist radiologists and other medical staff during procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to safeguard patient and staff welfare.
• Maintain accurate patient records and radiographic logs.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with the evolving medical imaging field.
