Paramedic

Methodist Health System seeks a skilled Paramedic to deliver high-quality emergency and pre-hospital care in a faith-based, patient-centered environment. In this PRN/day role, you will assess, stabilize, and transport patients, perform advanced life support interventions, administer medications, and document care accurately. Responsibilities

• Provide advanced and basic life support in emergency and pre-hospital settings
• Assess, stabilize, and transport patients safely
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols and physician orders
• Monitor vital signs, perform EKGs, and manage airways as needed
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EMR systems
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and EMS personnel
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and vehicle readiness for emergency response
• Follow all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on care, procedures, and follow-up when appropriate
