Medical Director Physician
Job Duties
CommunityCare, a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike affiliated with Geisinger and qualifies for the National Health Service Corp Loan Repayment Program and the Pennsylvania Loan Repayment Program.
In this role, you will partner with interdisciplinary teams to manage population health, improve outcomes, and drive preventive care initiatives. The patient panel includes comprehensive care across the full lifespan, from newborns to end-of-life care.
Practice Overview and Schedule
100% outpatient practice

40-hour work week, including:
36 patient contact hours
4 administrative hours

Clinic hours (subject to change):
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM rotation
One evening shift per week required
Shared call and weekend rotation required (1 in 12 - subject to change)
Patient Care and Clinical Expectations
Practice full-spectrum care for all ages
20- and 40-minute appointments, determined by acuity
Collaborative care model with APP panel sharing (APP supervision required)

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation - salary ranges from $320k to $375k based on experience
Recruitment incentives up to $250,000, including residency/fellowship stipend (not applicable for internal, lateral transfers)
Continuing medical education - 15 working days and $4,500 CME funds
Paid relocation (not applicable for internal, lateral transfers)

Medical malpractice with lifetime tail coverage
