Truck Driver CDL A Solo Regional Floater

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailer on regional routes as a floater across multiple customer accounts
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report defects per DOT and Ryder standards
• Maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation in compliance with hours-of-service and company policies
• Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries while following assigned routes and schedules
• Secure freight properly using appropriate equipment and verify load counts when required
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and operations regarding delays, issues, and load status
• Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, and Ryder policies, promoting a safety-first culture
• Assist with basic equipment care, fueling, and reporting maintenance needs promptly
