Inventory Control Specialist

ConGlobal is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to support accurate tracking of containers, equipment, and materials across our intermodal and terminal operations. In this role, you will manage inventory records, perform cycle counts, reconcile variances, and coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure assets are available, safe, and ready for use. You'll use warehouse and terminal systems to update statuses, analyze discrepancies, and support audits while working in a fast-paced, safety-focused yard and terminal environment with opportunities for growth in logistics and operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for containers, equipment, and materials across terminals and yards
• Perform routine cycle counts and reconciliations to identify and correct variances
• Use inventory, yard, and warehouse management systems to update statuses and track movements
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure assets are available and correctly staged
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Prepare inventory reports and support internal and customer audits
• Follow and promote safety procedures and compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Support continuous improvement of inventory processes and workflows
