Maintenance Mold Technician

Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Mold Technician to support safe, efficient production of rigid packaging components in our manufacturing facility. You will install, set up, and maintain molds; troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues; and perform preventive maintenance on molding equipment and associated tooling. Responsibilities include minimizing downtime, ensuring part quality, documenting work in maintenance systems, and collaborating with production teams to drive continuous improvement, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced, sustainability-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and remove molds on injection or blow molding equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on molding machines and tooling
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime
• Inspect, clean, and refurbish molds to maintain quality and extend tool life
• Use precision measuring tools and read technical drawings to ensure proper setup and alignment
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve defects and optimize cycle times
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS or maintenance logs
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and housekeeping standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
• Assist with spare parts management and recommendations for tooling and equipment upgrades
