Operations Manager

As Operations Manager at Turtleback Zoo for Aramark, you will oversee daily food service and facilities operations to ensure safe, efficient, and guest-focused experiences. You will lead and schedule staff, manage inventory and vendors, uphold health and safety standards, and monitor budgets and KPIs. Partnering closely with zoo and Aramark leadership, you will drive service excellence, resolve guest issues, and support a culture of teamwork, inclusivity, and continuous improvement while training and developing team members for long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily food service and facilities operations at Turtleback Zoo to ensure safe, efficient, guest-focused service.
• Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance and engagement.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure product availability and cost control.
• Monitor budgets, labor, and operational KPIs, implementing improvements to meet financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with health, food safety, and workplace safety regulations and Aramark standards.
• Collaborate with zoo and Aramark leadership to align operations with client expectations and service goals.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Support a culture of teamwork, inclusivity, ethical behavior, and continuous improvement.
