Adventist Health seeks a Sr. Speech Pathologist to provide advanced, whole-person speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing care in a faith-based environment. In this full-time, day-shift role, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, create evidence-based treatment plans, and manage a complex caseload across adult and/or pediatric populations. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, mentor junior clinicians, and support quality improvement while documenting thoroughly in the EMR. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations for diverse patient populations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practice and patient goals.
- Document assessments, goals, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab therapists, and care teams to coordinate whole-person care.
- Educate patients and families on therapy plans, home programs, and safe swallowing strategies.
- Mentor and support junior speech pathologists and students as a senior clinical resource.
- Participate in case conferences, care rounds, and interdisciplinary planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional practice standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within rehabilitation and speech services.
