Mission Pet Health is seeking a Regional Medical Director to lead clinical excellence across a network of pet healthcare clinics. In this role, you will oversee medical quality, develop and standardize clinical protocols, and provide guidance on complex cases. You'll mentor veterinarians and support teams, drive performance through data and outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance. Partnering closely with operations and R&D, you will help implement innovative pet health solutions while fostering a collaborative, pet-focused culture that advances veterinary care in your region.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership for regional veterinary teams across multiple clinics
- Develop and implement regional medical protocols and quality standards
- Oversee case management for complex medical cases and provide consults
- Collaborate with operations leadership to optimize clinical workflows and outcomes
- Lead, mentor, and coach veterinarians and medical support staff
- Monitor medical performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with veterinary regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Support integration of new clinics and services within the region
- Partner with R&D to evaluate and adopt innovative pet health solutions
- Represent Mission Pet Health at regional professional and community events
