Truck Driver Class A CDL

Ryder System is hiring a safety-focused Truck Driver Class A CDL to support regional and local routes within our Transportation & Warehousing operations. In this role, you will haul freight between warehouses, customer facilities, and distribution centers while maintaining on-time performance and DOT compliance. You'll complete pre- and post-trip inspections, secure and unload freight, and communicate closely with dispatch. Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A CDL tractor-trailers on assigned regional and local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required DOT logs and paperwork
• Transport freight between warehouses, customer sites, and distribution centers on schedule
• Secure, load, and unload freight while following Ryder and customer safety standards
• Communicate with dispatch on route status, delays, and equipment issues
• Follow all DOT, company, and customer policies and procedures
• Report vehicle maintenance needs and collaborate with shop personnel
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at delivery and pickup locations
