Retail Sales Representative

Mattress Firm is seeking a Retail Sales Representative passionate about helping customers sleep better. In this customer-first, performance-driven role, you'll welcome shoppers, assess their sleep needs, and recommend mattresses, bases, and accessories that fit comfort and budget. You'll explain promotions, warranties, and financing, and use selling tools to close sales and reach goals. You'll help maintain an inviting showroom, support inventory and merchandising, and deliver outstanding service. Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand sleep needs and recommend mattresses, bases, and accessories
• Demonstrate product features and explain promotions, warranties, and financing options
• Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and follow up on online and in-store leads
• Maintain a clean, inviting showroom including merchandising, signage, and product displays
• Support inventory tasks such as receiving, tagging, and floor placement of products
• Handle customer concerns and returns professionally, escalating complex issues as needed
• Participate in ongoing sales, product, and customer service training programs
• Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and uphold company standards
• Represent Mattress Firm's brand, values, and community involvement initiatives
