Manufacturing Welder

Holt Group is seeking a Manufacturing Welder to support production of metal components for our industrial products. In this hands-on, on-site role, you will interpret blueprints and weld symbols, set up welding equipment, and perform high-quality MIG and TIG welds on a variety of metals. You'll fit and assemble parts, verify dimensions, and inspect finished welds to meet safety, quality, and throughput targets. The position requires adherence to strict safety standards, proper use of PPE, and routine equipment maintenance while collaborating with leads and operators to meet daily schedules.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to determine weld requirements
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and other metals per specifications
• Set up, operate, and adjust welding equipment and fixtures safely
• Fit, align, and clamp workpieces using appropriate tools and techniques
• Inspect welds for quality, size, and appearance; correct defects as needed
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area in safe working condition
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop protocols
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines
