Cashier

Zaxby's is seeking friendly, reliable Cashiers to join our fast-paced, guest-focused team. As a Cashier, you'll be the face of our restaurant, welcoming guests with authentic Southern hospitality. You will take and process dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru orders, operate the POS system, and handle cash and card transactions accurately. You'll support food preparation by coordinating orders with the kitchen and help maintain a clean, inviting dining area. Team members gain valuable experience in customer service, food safety, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow into leadership and management roles as Zaxby's continues to expand.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, efficient service following Zaxby's hospitality standards
• Accurately take dine-in, carryout, and drive-thru orders using the POS system
• Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments, ensuring correct change and receipts
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
• Maintain cleanliness of front counter, dining area, and beverage stations
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests professionally
• Restock napkins, condiments, cups, and other front-of-house supplies
• Support team members during rush periods to maintain speed of service
• Adhere to company policies, appearance standards, and shift schedules
