Cashier

Zaxby's is seeking friendly, reliable Cashiers to deliver fast, genuine Southern hospitality to every guest. In this role, you'll greet customers, take accurate orders, and operate the POS system for dine-in and drive-thru service. You'll handle cash and electronic payments, ensure correct change, and coordinate with the kitchen to keep orders moving quickly. Cashiers help maintain a clean, welcoming dining room and front counter, follow food safety and sanitation standards, and support teammates during busy rushes. Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly, prompt service at the counter and drive-thru
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments and provide correct change
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment
• Maintain cleanliness of front counter, dining area, and beverage stations
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standards
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and special requests professionally
• Assist with restocking supplies and preparing simple menu items as needed
• Support teammates during busy periods to maintain quick service times
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and appearance standards
