Tsubaki Kabelschlepp America, Inc, a leader in cable carriers and machine protection systems, is seeking a Molding Technician to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will set up, operate, and monitor molding equipment to produce high-quality components used in our cable carrier and protection solutions. Responsibilities include performing tool changes, basic troubleshooting, and routine adjustments to maintain production efficiency and part quality. You will inspect molded parts, document results, and follow all safety and quality procedures while working in a collaborative, team-focused environment that emphasizes continuous improvement and employee development. The Molding Technician also assists with material handling, supports preventive maintenance activities, and contributes ideas to optimize processes and reduce scrap, helping drive our reputation for reliable, high-performance products.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor plastic molding machines to meet production schedules and quality standards
  • Perform routine adjustments, tool changes, and basic machine troubleshooting to minimize downtime
  • Inspect molded parts using gauges, calipers, and visual checks, documenting results per quality procedures
  • Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and 5
  • S standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Coordinate with maintenance and engineering when equipment issues exceed basic troubleshooting
  • Record production data, scrap, and downtime accurately in logs or ERP systems
  • Assist with mold setups, changeovers, and material handling, including loading resins and additives
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives to enhance process efficiency and part quality
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize jobs and resolve production issues
  • Support training of new technicians and operators on machine operation and safety practices
