Playgroup Leader

Community Health Programs, Inc. seeks a Playgroup Leader to facilitate developmentally appropriate playgroups for young children and caregivers in a community health setting. In this role, you'll design engaging, culturally responsive activities that support early learning, social-emotional growth, and school readiness. You'll collaborate with pediatric, behavioral health, and family support teams; guide caregivers with practical strategies; maintain documentation; and help connect underserved Berkshire families to CHP's comprehensive, patient-centered services in a mission-driven, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead developmentally appropriate playgroups for young children and caregivers
• Create a safe, inclusive, trauma informed environment that supports social and emotional growth
• Observe children's behavior and development; share insights and resources with parents and caregivers
• Collaborate with behavioral health, pediatric, and family support teams to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate attendance, progress notes, and required program documentation
• Communicate program schedules, expectations, and follow up resources to families
• Support outreach efforts to engage underserved and diverse families in the Berkshires
• Follow organizational policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards (HIPAA/FERPA as applicable)
