Senior Automotive Technician

Sun Auto Service is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. In this full-time role, you'll handle engine, brake, transmission, and electrical systems while ensuring accurate inspections and quality workmanship. You'll mentor junior techs, collaborate with service advisors, and uphold safety and customer service standards. Sun Auto Service offers ongoing training, growth into lead or management roles, and the stability of a well-established, integrity-driven, multi-shop organization across the Southwest.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics on engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Complete high-quality repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of vehicles
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document findings accurately
• Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues
• Mentor and support junior technicians with troubleshooting and repair techniques
• Collaborate with service advisors to explain repairs and timelines to customers
• Follow all shop safety, cleanliness, and environmental procedures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge through training and technical resources
