Leasing Specialist

Dream Live Prosper Communities is seeking a resident-focused Leasing Specialist to help create safe, attractive, and prosperous apartment communities. In this role, you'll welcome prospects, lead engaging tours, and clearly explain pricing, lease terms, and community features. You'll handle applications, screenings, and lease paperwork while keeping records accurate and organized. Partnering with operations and maintenance, you'll ensure homes are move-in ready and support resident satisfaction and retention. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, customer service, and making a direct impact on residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Greet, tour, and guide prospective residents through apartment homes and community amenities
• Respond promptly to phone, email, and online leasing inquiries and schedule appointments
• Explain lease terms, pricing, and community policies clearly and accurately
• Process applications, verify qualifications, and prepare lease documents and renewals
• Maintain accurate resident and prospect records in property management systems
• Support marketing efforts, online listings, and resident events to drive occupancy
• Perform regular follow-ups with prospects and support strong resident retention
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure homes are move-in ready
• Handle basic resident questions, requests, and service escalations with professionalism
• Assist with rent collection, reporting, and other front-office administrative tasks
