HVAC Service Technician

Air Experts, partnering with Genentech, seeks an HVAC Service Technician to support critical biotech and pharmaceutical facilities. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex HVAC and building automation systems in labs, cleanrooms, and offices, ensuring strict temperature, humidity, and air quality standards. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, equipment upgrades, and detailed service documentation while following GMP, safety, and regulatory standards. You'll collaborate with engineers, facility managers, and researchers to minimize downtime and support a culture of innovation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems in biotech facilities
• Perform preventive maintenance on chillers, boilers, air handlers, and controls
• Monitor and maintain temperature, humidity, and air quality for labs and cleanrooms
• Diagnose system issues using meters, gauges, and BMS interfaces
• Document all service activities in maintenance and compliance systems
• Ensure adherence to GMP, safety, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate with engineers, facility managers, and researchers on HVAC needs
• Recommend system upgrades and efficiency improvements
• Respond to emergency HVAC service calls and minimize downtime
• Support commissioning and validation of HVAC systems for new projects
