Job Details:

  • Locum Tenens assignment, ASAP start with ongoing duration

  • Shifts are 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

  • Medical direction model; CRNAs work alongside physicians and are never working alone

  • CRNAs serve as true backup call to the physician; physician is first call for OR cases and OB

  • May be asked to perform backup call as needed

  • Peripheral blocks are rarely if ever performed; epidurals are rare

  • Active CSR required

  • ACLS certification required

  • Board certification required (minimum board certification eligible)

  • Surgical cases include: complete orthopedic, head and spine, neurosurgery, pediatric, regional, and thoracic procedures

  • Required skills include: general anesthesia (adult, pediatric, neonatal, trauma), spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, neurosurgical cases, thoracic cases, complex orthopedic cases, pain management techniques, post-op epidural, post-op extremity blocks, epidural steroid injections (lumbar and cervical), transforaminal injections (lumbar and cervical), use of x-ray guidance for blocks, ventilation management, acute volume/BP management, central line placement, arterial line placement, and PA catheter placement

  • Provider must be located 90+ miles from facility

  • Active state license, active DEA number, and additional credentialing documents required upon bid acceptance
