As our Critical Care service continues to grow, Premier Critical Care is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our nocturnist ICU team in Naples, Florida.

This is an opportunity for an APP who enjoys high-acuity medicine, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to play an integral role in the care of critically ill patients. You'll work closely with our intensivists and interdisciplinary teams while continuing to develop your critical care expertise in a supportive, physician-led practice.

What You'll Do

As a Critical Care APP, you will be actively involved in the evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of critically ill patients across our ICU service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU settings
  • Evaluate new and existing ICU patients and assist with the development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Manage complex clinical conditions, including ventilator and hemodynamic support
  • Perform bedside procedures based on experience, competency, and credentialing
  • Interpret laboratory results, imaging, and other diagnostic studies to support timely clinical decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with attending intensivists, consultants, nursing, respiratory therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Participate in rapid responses, Code Blue events, and other critical clinical situations
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and families regarding clinical status and plans of care
  • Participate in quality improvement, clinical education, and the continued development of our Critical Care program

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for an APP who is clinically strong, dependable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • National certification as an NP or PA-C
  • ACNP or AGACNP certification preferred for Nurse Practitioner candidates
  • Current Florida license or eligibility for Florida licensure
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Critical Care or hospital-based experience preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Procedural experience is a plus
  • Ability to remain composed, adaptable, and effective in high-acuity situations
